November 2017 Beauty Favorites

November 2017 Beauty Favorites

I've been so busy this November, that I've kept my routine very simple and didn't try out anything new and stuck with long time favorites.

One favorite, that you can see how much I've already used up, is Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is their all-in-one makeup remover, that also removes waterproof makeup. I'm almost out and you can 100% guarantee that I will be repurchasing!

I always double cleanse, and I use First Aid Beauty Deep Cleanser after I take up my makeup with the Micellar water. This product is a repurchase that I always come back to. It really helps clear up my skin and makes sure that my face is clean. My boyfriend, who has oily skin, loves this product as well. He says it makes his face feel clean, and helps control / prevent breakouts. I've also noticed that his skin is clearer when he uses this versus when he doesn't.

I'm a huge fan of Tory Burch perfumes. I first fell in love with her first / original perfume, and came across the green one, which is called Jolie Fleur Verte. On Sephora, it describes Jolie Fleur Verte as:Jolie Fleur Verte captures the crisp green color and dewy aroma of lily of the valley in Tory Burch's garden. In the tomboy and easygoing mix, hints of mandarin, neroli oil, and jasmine open up into soft scents of lily of the valley. Introducing Jolie Fleur, a collection of three unique fragrances inspired by the flowers and colors in Tory Burch's garden: rose, lily of the valley, and tuberose. Each fragrance captures elements of Tory's style. Notes: Lily of the Valley, Jasmine Absolute, Mandarin, Neroli Oil, Dewey Green Accord, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Musk.

I've been a fan of Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea foundation. I think the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the dropper. Other than that, I love that it's a medium coverage foundation, that works well with my combo skin. For me, since I don't get blemishes often, it looks more like a full coverage foundation and evens out my skin tone. It does cover my pink cheeks, but I do need to go in with a little concealer around my nose to cover up my redness there.

I'm a fan of drugstore blushes, especially this Milani Powder Blush in Blossomtime Rose. Isn't it just beautiful? It's design and look reminds me of Clinique's Cheek Pop blushes, doesn't it?

I've been using L'oreal Mascara for a while, and my previous tube was the Voluminous Carbon Black. My new favorite is Lash Paradise. I think I need more time to use it, and I also need to buy a new tube of the first one to compare to Lash Paradise, and see which is more voluminous. I have both in the waterproof version, and I'm enjoying Lash Paradise so far.
